Commerce, the parent company of BigCommerce, Feedonomics and Makeswift, is hiring a Technical Training Content Developer for its Training team. The posting body also calls the position Enterprise Training Manager, Technical Content, and it reports to the Manager, Training.
- Create and update product and developer learning content so it stays accurate with each platform release.
- Work with Product, Engineering and Professional Services to turn platform changes into course material across every format.
- Script, narrate and record videos on new features, common questions and key platform capabilities for the developer community.
- Deliver custom virtual and in person training for enterprise merchants, agency partners and internal teams, starting with scoping calls to understand their goals.
- Manage training action plans and session scheduling, and use AI tools to speed up content creation.
- Candidates need 3 to 5 years in technical writing, instructional design, product training or developer education, working knowledge of GitHub and frameworks such as Next.js or Nuxt.js, comfort running API requests with tools like Postman, familiarity with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and the ability to explain technical topics clearly to any audience.
Location: Austin, TX, with additional locations in Atlanta, GA and United States, Remote
Salary: $88,630 to $132,946 (pay transparency range)
