Automattic is hiring a Partner Manager for Automattic for Agencies (A4A), its program for digital agencies that work with Automattic products. The role manages a portfolio of agency partners, supports lead generation and works toward shared revenue goals. Automattic is a fully remote company.
- Drive sales of Automattic products through agency partners and identify new revenue opportunities.
- Handle agency account management, including relationship building, go to market plans, technical escalations and business reviews, while building several champions inside each agency.
- Monitor the health of client sites that run on Automattic products and manage retention risk.
- Recruit and onboard new agencies that fit the A4A growth strategy, and train partners on Automattic products and services.
- Support flagship WordCamps and partner events, and bring partner feedback back to product and business teams.
- Candidates need 5 or more years in SaaS channel sales or partner management, ideally in the WordPress ecosystem, a record of hitting revenue targets, strong presentation skills and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Location: Remote (Automattic is currently prioritizing candidates who live in North America)
Salary: $140,000 to $170,000 USD, a mix of salary and commission. Automattic states that its ranges are global and paid in local currency.
