**Job Overview**

Mailchimp, part of Intuit’s global technology platform, powers email marketing and automation for millions of small businesses. As the Head of Product Sales & Activation you will lead the teams responsible for technical sales, solution consulting and activation. You will partner with product, marketing and sales leaders to scale the sales engineering program, drive strategic alignment on messaging and go‑to‑market, and deliver compelling demos and proof‑of‑concepts that showcase the value of Mailchimp’s platform.

### Responsibilities
– Provide transformational leadership for a team of Sales Engineers and Solution Consultants, defining strategy and building the operating model to scale Mailchimp’s technical sales and activation program.
– Drive strategic alignment between product, sales and marketing, ensuring the sales motion reflects the value proposition of our products and informing the product roadmap with customer feedback.
– Design and implement sales enablement frameworks, demos and proof‑of‑concept programs that highlight Mailchimp’s capabilities and drive product adoption.
– Build operational excellence by defining metrics and processes to measure attach rate, activation and conversions, using data to iterate and improve.
– Recruit, coach and mentor managers and individual contributors, growing a high‑performing team and fostering a culture of customer obsession and continuous learning.
– Gather customer and market insights and collaborate cross‑functionally with product, marketing, engineering and customer success to influence strategy and drive outcomes.

### Qualifications
– 5+ years of leadership experience in Sales Engineering, Pre‑Sales or Solution Consulting, ideally within SaaS or B2B software; proven ability to transform and scale technical sales organizations.
– Demonstrated success partnering with sales, product and marketing leaders to drive go‑to‑market alignment and improve attach rates for new products.
– Strong analytical and operational skills; comfortable leveraging data and tools like Salesforce, Gong or other CRM/sales enablement platforms to guide decisions.
– Executive presence and excellent communication skills; able to influence stakeholders at all levels and represent the customer’s voice.
– Empathetic leader and coach with high emotional intelligence; passionate about developing people and creating an inclusive, high‑performing team.
– Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment and solving complex problems with a customer‑centric mindset.

### Compensation
The expected base pay range for this role in New York is **$185,000 – $250,000**, plus eligible bonus, equity and comprehensive benefits.
