Antispam Bee WordPress plugin

If you’re having difficulties managing spam comments on your WordPress website, there’s a way to get this all under control. The Antispam Bee plugin helps to block spam comments and trackbacks.

How to block spam comments in WordPress

1. Go to the left-hand side of your screen, hover over Plugins and then click on Add New.
2. In the right-hand corner, search for Antispam Bee in the search bar.
3. Once you see the Antispam Bee plugin, click on the Install Now button.

4. After the plugin is done installing, click on the Activate button.

You can click on Settings after the plugin has been activated, in order to find more customizable options to ensure that you stop spam comments on your WordPress website. 

You’ll see different options like blocking or allowing comments from different countries, or only allowing comments in specific languages. Go through the settings and check the boxes that best cover what it is you’re looking to block.

You can check the box that will send you an email if you do receive spam, and you can also choose the delete existing spam box as well. These are just a few of the options available to you through this anti-spam plugin.

Once you’ve finished checking or unchecking the different boxes, you can go ahead and click on Save Changes. 

One thing you’ll need to do after all of this is completed is go through your old spam messages and clean them up.
