Claiming your Instagram account on Pinterest gives you access to more in-depth analytics and makes sure that you are always credited when someone shares one of your IG posts on Pinterest. If someone shares your Instagram post on Pinterest, it will always lead back to your Instagram account which can lead to more Instagram followers and engagement!

How to claim your Instagram account on Pinterest

Before claiming your Instagram account, you will want to make sure you are using your business account on Pinterest and that your Instagram account is open in another tab.

At the top right-hand corner, click on the arrow beside your profile picture and select Settings. From there, click on Claim on the left-hand side. Here, you will see different social media accounts you can claim. Once you see Instagram, click on the Claim button across from it.

From here, an Instagram tab will appear and ask permission to receive certain information from your Instagram account to be put on Pinterest. Information such as Profile information is required.  Click Allow and you’re done.

Now, your Instagram account is claimed and linked to your Pinterest account!
