Why change your YouTube name?
When giving your YouTube channel a name, YouTube Studio requires you to use words. This isn’t always ideal as your company name or brand name may only have one word in it. Follow the steps below to learn how to change your YouTube name to one word.
Change YouTube Channel Name to One Word
- In YouTube Studio, click on Settings in the bottom left.
- In the dialogue box that opens up, click on the Channel tab and click on the Google Account link.
- Click on the edit icon and enter your name into the First Name field and delete anything that’s currently in the Last Name field. Click Save.
