How to Use Tailwind Create: A Step-by-Step Tutorial

With Tailwind Create, you can create, schedule and publish your Instagram and Facebook posts with ease.  This all-in-one social media marketing tool enables you to create dozens of personalized designs in one magical click, edit them in real time and then schedule them faster than ever before.

How to Use Tailwind Create for Instagram and Facebook

Step One: Set Your Brand Preferences

Once you are logged into your Tailwind dashboard, click on the Tailwind Create tab in the left-hand menu.  Then, click on the Start Creating Now button. You will be prompted to do the following:

  • Enter your website or brand name
  • Select your fonts
  • Select your color palette
  • Upload your logos

Once you are finished setting up your Brand Preferences, click on the Save and Continue button.

Step Two: Add Your Post Information

Add a link to your specific blog post, product, or other content by entering it into the Destination Link field.  Tailwind Create will automatically pull the title and images from your content.  Edit the title if needed and then choose your images by uploading files from your computer, using stock photos, or using photos from your webpage.

Then, click on the Create Images button and watch Tailwind Create do its magic!

Step Three: “Try On” Different Looks

Scroll down and have a look through all of the awesome & creative designs that Tailwind Create has made for you.  As you can see, with very little effort, you now have dozens of designs to choose from.

Hover over a design that you like and click on the arrow to expand the Re-Style section.  Click on the Colors, Photos, and Layouts buttons to “try on” different looks to suit your style.  If you’d like to edit a design even further, you can certainly do that and we’ll cover that part next!

Step Four: Edit Your Designs

To edit a design, simply click on the Edit button.  You can then customize your design by doing a combination of the following:

  • Add text and change your font selection
  • Add elements
  • Add photos
  • Resize & reposition items
  • Bring items forward and backward
  • Change colors
  • Change the opacity

Once you’re happy with your design, click on the Save and Go Back button to view all of your designs.

Step Five: Select Your Final Designs

Scroll through your designs and hit the Select button on each design that you’d like to use.  Then, click on the Review Your Selection button.  And, don’t worry – you can still make edits during the review stage.  You can even use the Re-Style feature to quickly tweak your designs.

Once you’re done with making any last edits, click on the Go Schedule button to schedule your new, designer-quality posts.

Step Six: Schedule Your New Posts

You will now see your brand-new designs in your Drafts tab.  To schedule one of your new social media posts, simply click on it.  From there, you can enter your Caption along with your Hashtags.  Be sure to check out the handy Suggested Hashtags feature for quick suggestions and inspiration.  If you’d like, you can check off the “Post hashtags in first comment” option to have the hashtags show up as the first comment as opposed to adding them to your main caption.

Lastly, select a time to schedule the post.  Hit the Schedule button and you’re done!
